There is always a good reason to cross the “Manche”!
The earlier you book, he best deal you get!
We chose the “Dolphin House” because the hotel has a swimming pool, it is well located and very close to the underground.
Unfortunately, the pool was closed during our stay: the hotel kindly offered the wifi connection, upgrated our rooms and offered the breakfast.
Despite Pimlico is not the sexiest neighborhood, it’s a great option to travel around town!
We went to a great sushi bar in the “City” called: K10. I visited their store in “La Défense” and adored the concept: sushis were fresh and delicious, there were several options besides raw fish. Also, there were 4-sits tables just right by the bar: cool when you come with a group of friends.
Tea time is a must-do experience in England. Also, I do recommend the “Soho Secret Garden” Tea Room, which is hidden in a regular pub in Soho. How cool is that to hide for tea?
Some friends recommended the restaurant HIX in Soho. But to be honnest, it was not our best pick: I mean, you are supposed to order a side when you ask for a burger! How weird…
Have to say that the service was very nice though.
We also tried thaï food at the Siam. All the dishes were perfectly cooked! We loved it.
You won’t be disappointed at BURGER & LOBSTER. There’s a single menu: lobster or burger. But you can choose the way you want it cooked 🙂
I was so happy of this £20 menu! Totally would go back again.
We got there by 3 pm and fortunately didn’t have to wait too long.
Eventually, remember that you can get delicious sandwiches at Harrod’s just before you get your Eurostar back.
Portobello, Cambden, Oxford Street… You all know about these places.
If you get some time besides shopping, go to the Tate Modern, that’s a great museum!
Also, the London Eye is worth a visit! It takes 30 minutes for the full tour, and it’s even better, if you get a glass of champagne with it.
Enjoy your stay!
